There are a few more exhibitors to tell you about, who will be at the Tiny Weddings Fair on 30th Sept. If you want a bouquet that will last forever, come along and see what Clare’s Faux Flowers can do for you. Come along to meet her at the Wycombe Swan to see some examples for yourself.
Please tell us about what you make.
Clare’s Faux Flowers sell high quality hand tied faux flowers for all occasions. I make bouquets for weddings, centrepieces and buttonholes. I also do wreaths for funerals, which I then break down and make posies for the family to keep as a reminder of their loved one. I also make wreaths for Christmas, and faux flowers for all occasions.
What do you love about tiny weddings?
I have only just started the business and feel that tiny weddings are the way forward for me. It means that I can give full attention to the needs of the bride and groom.
How do you think the couples are different when working with a large wedding versus a tiny wedding?
I think small weddings don’t necessarily get the coverage they deserve. Couples can give more time and energy to a smaller wedding making sure everything is perfect.
What are the main differences in the way you do business when dealing with a tiny wedding?
I have only really worked with people planning small occasions, I haven’t worked on big events, and I find that smaller events suit me well.
What are your goals in supplying a small wedding?
I would like to create flowers that make the wedding party happy and remember their special day, in a way that they would not want to go back to real flowers again.
