Following on from a successful Tiny Wedding Fair in September 2018, Tiny Weddings have partnered with Unique Venues Birmingham to bring intimate ceremony and elopement inspiration to the West Midlands.
On March 10th 2019 Tiny Weddings and Unique Venues Birmingham will be hosting the first 2019 Tiny Weddings Fair at The Birmingham REP Theatre. Perhaps you’re looking for an unusual and intimate ceremony venue, someone to help you get married overseas, an adventurous elopement photographer or a celebrant to lead your ceremony close to home or abroad. If so, this is your chance to expand your idea of what a wedding can mean, meet vendors who are interested in smaller weddings, and hear talks from those who help plan or have held their own Tiny Wedding.
Unique Venues Birmingham covers two of Birmingham’s most unique venues which house many ceremony, reception and dining spaces perfectly suited for intimate celebrations. If you’re looking for a city centre ceremony with great views, a nerdy book-lovers paradise drinks reception or an informal shindig followed by a full theatrical event then Unique Venues Birmingham have got a space for you.
During the Tiny Weddings Fair on March 10th the amazing spaces Unique Venues Birmingham host will be open for tours. Also, there will be intimate wedding suppliers and adventurous elopement vendors to meet with, and a whole host of talks and workshops that you can join from previous Tiny Weddings couples and industry experts to inspire you. The workshops, talks and tours timetable will be released closer to the date of the fair. So if you’ve got questions like “Can I have a Harry Potter themed wedding in a library?”, “Do I need witnesses to my marriage even if I don’t want guests?” and “Is a Vegas wedding really legal?” then this if the fair for you!

About Tiny Weddings Hosts
Tiny Weddings was created by Carly and Claire in response to their own experiences of wedding fairs in relation to their own small weddings.
Carly has been blogging about elopements since her own elopement in 2015. Beginning her career in wedding journalism, Carly moved into wedding planning and events management but always knew it wasn’t her scene. Carly has planned and executed weddings, fairs and events for some of the UK’s most recognisable venues and attractions and continues to work with events venues day to day as a consultant. When her own marriage was imminent she quickly realised there wasn’t much choice for those who wanted a great wedding without a huge guest list, Carly began seeking out suppliers of tiny wedding and elopements around the world and the rest is history.
Claire is a wedding planner, specialising in elopements and small destination weddings in Central Park, New York, for couples from all over the world. She has been doing this for over six years and has planned over two hundred and fifty weddings so far. All of her weddings have had under fifty guests and most have between five and fifteen guests. She knows the tiny wedding market well. She knows what drives a couple to choose a tiny wedding and what values and priorities are popular for the couples that take this route.
